About the role
The Mechanic - Senior role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing and repairing natural gas engines, compressors, pumps, generators, turbines, valves and other critical equipment at compressor, pipeline, storage, gathering, fractionation and/or gas processing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical work on fixed and rotating equipment at various locations including, but not limited to: internal combustion, diesel, natural gas powered engines and electrical drivers, compressors, pumps, generators, turbines, valves, electrical equipment, and well equipment.
- Service, troubleshoot, maintain, install and repair structural, mechanical, electrical and/or well equipment.
- Conduct and interpret performance analyses, including emissions testing.
- Train and direct employees involved in mechanical work.
- Order and secure parts and supplies.
- Maintain, prepare and/or interpret reports and/or records including, but not limited to: work logs and service orders, inspection reports, engine/equipment maintenance and repair records, pressure readings, material and supply orders, engine and compressor oil analysis reports.
Qualifications
- Experience in use and function of hand and power tools and equipment applicable to position.
- Advanced knowledge servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment.
- Advanced experience in troubleshooting equipment abnormalities and failure modes analysis.
- Knowledge of ordering and securing parts and supplies.
- Ability to communicate and exchange information and instructions.
- Ability to work in confined areas.
- Ability to react immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform precise tuning/timing work.
- Ability to utilize fine motor skills for making minute adjustments.

Benefits
- $1,500 monthly geographic allowance.
- 6% profit sharing.
- 8% short-term incentive opportunity.

$84,000.00 - $126,000.00
Schedule
Four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with on-call rotation from Wednesday to Wednesday approximately once every 11 weeks. Day travel within the coverage area is required.
