About the role
The Mechanic Multicraft Manufacturing position is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets in the production facility. This role also responds to equipment breakdowns, performs planned and unscheduled work, and provides training to new personnel.
Responsibilities
- Completes preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
- Locates and resolves malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and needs; developing job aids and one-point lessons; and building equipment SOPs
- Makes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments; programs changes and modifications to electronic, electrical equipment to improve overall production
- Trains plant personnel on equipment and procedures
- Monitors and maintains multiple pieces of equipment by completing assigned PMs, performing corrective maintenance work orders, filling out paperwork, and assisting production as needed
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school
- Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
- Technical degree or experience preferred
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) required
Qualifications
- Read and follow SOPs or instructions
- Computer skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Competency in monitoring and adjusting equipment speeds, temperatures, and liquid levels
- Identify and troubleshoot complex process issues
- Make mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic adjustments
Skills
- Read blueprints, electrical prints, and machine schematics
- Comprehend complex processing equipment
- Initiative to further technical expertise

Pay
$24.08 - $32.26 Hourly, depending on experience
Schedule
1st shift, Monday - Friday, 5:30am - 2:00pm, weekends/holidays per business needs.
