Mechanic Level A

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair of steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning systems.
• Work safely and perform part analysis on damaged parts.
• Aid in inventory control or other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Talent Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of apprentice level verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, including high school mechanics courses and/or a regional occupational program.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.
• Required Qualifications: Automotive technician experience only (not bus or diesel), ASE Master Technician certification (current), minimum of 10 years of automotive technician experience, currently working as a technician or recently active in the field, advanced diagnostic skills, own a full set of tools and diagnostic equipment, steady work history (no frequent job-hopping), clean driving record, ability and willingness to work second shift (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM), experience with Ford, Dodge, and Ram vehicles.
• Resides in or near the San Fernando Valley (preferred).

Pay

Starting pay rate: $37.65/hour
