About the role

Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including mechanical, utilities, and associated systems, in accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes. Maintains facilities and equipment in a hospital or clinic environment.

• May be scheduled to work various shifts and weekends to meet hospital needs, not necessarily within craft lines.
• May require travel to perform maintenance at other BCHS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Florida Driver’s License (required).
• 5 years of experience as a Service-Related Technician (required).
• 3 years of hospital maintenance experience (preferred).
• 1 year of experience with high-rise mechanical or utilities systems (preferred).
• Fourth-Grade Stationary Engineer’s License (preferred).

Schedule

• Full-time, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM shift.
• Monday – Friday.

Morton Plant Hospital – Clearwater, Florida.
