About the role
As a Mechanic I at StandardAero, you will repair and overhaul gas turbine accessories. You'll work independently and as part of a team to achieve maximum quality, complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy, and observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect engine accessories and accessory components.
- Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality.
- Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy.
- Observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations.
Requirements
- One or more years of experience working with mechanical components.
- One or more years of experience with routine induction/dismantle of mechanical components.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs without assistance.
- Ability to stand for at least 50% of scheduled shift.
- High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development).
Desired Skills
- Experience with turbine engine accessories.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine proper operating conditions.
