Troubleshooting Mechanical Systems
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Train others of lesser skill level
Equipment Maintenance and Support
- Maintain and support air pollution equipment
- Support general plant and facilities maintenance and modernization
Essential Duties
- Estimate, procure parts, modify and install mechanical equipment
- Drive company truck to various Interface locations as well as to supply companies
- Comply with safety rules and environmental regulations
- Be aware of departmental Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and LOTO procedures
- Understand and support Interface commitment to sustainability
- Ensure ISO procedures are followed
- Maintain housekeeping
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Extensive walking
- Daily climbing of ladders and stairs
- Work in non-climate controlled manufacturing environment
- Work in areas requiring PPE provided by the company
Work Environment
- Electrical panel
- Power distribution switchgear
- Breaker panel
