Mechanic-HVAC

About the role

ColonialWebb is seeking experienced and career‑minded HVAC Mechanics to join our Hampton Roads Special Projects team. As a full‑service MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) contractor, we provide commercial customers with comprehensive solutions across new construction, mechanical service, industrial refrigeration, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and retrofit HVAC equipment, sheet‑metal products, and ductwork for commercial projects.
• Perform installation and retrofitting services for rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, chillers, cooling towers, commercial boilers, pneumatic and electrical control systems.

Requirements

• HVAC Journeyman’s license or equivalent experience.
• Universal EPA certification (preferred, but not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Pay

Competitive hourly rate ranging from $24 to $40.
