Mechanic - Highway Line Striping

About the Role

TRP Construction Group, a leading provider of safety-critical and highly regulated roadway marking and traffic control solutions, is seeking an experienced General Mechanic to join our team in Orlando/Sanford, FL. This role supports field operations by ensuring our fleet and equipment remain safe, reliable, and job-ready.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on trucks, striping machines, and related equipment
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Work closely with operations to minimize equipment downtime
• Keep a clean, organized, and orderly shop and work area at all times

Requirements

• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, striping equipment, small engines, and hydraulic systems
• Mechanical experience with heavy equipment or fleet vehicles
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and requires minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus
