What You Will Do
Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data.
Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble/disassembly and test a jet engine.
Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly as specified by work instructions, comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
Qualifications You Must Have
- A High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in a mechanic role or appropriate technical training
Qualifications We Prefer
- Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, or Turbine Engine Test Operations
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and SAP
