Mechanic/Forklift Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair forklifts
• Perform routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Repair electric, gas, and propane forklifts
• Test equipment after repairs
• Remove unsafe equipment from service
• Maintain forklift repair logs
• Manage forklift batteries and propane tanks

Requirements

• Forklift repair experience required
• Experience with Toyota, Hyster, Clark, Crown, and Yale forklifts
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to read repair manuals
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift mechanic training preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to kneel, lie down, and access all areas of a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb
• Ability to safely perform hands‑on mechanical work
