Mechanic Forklift Class A

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Forklift Mechanic at their Yemasse, SC Service Center. This position offers competitive compensation up to $31.89 per hour, with full-time, Monday-Friday shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
• Must have a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• Experience with the repair/maintenance of industrial fork trucks.
• Electric & manual pallet jack repair/maintenance experience preferred.
• Aerial lift repair/maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to use a computer for tasks such as creating repair work orders.
• Own tools on site, with the company providing specialized tools.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• 3 years of experience with the repair/maintenance of industrial fork trucks.
• Electric & manual pallet jack repair/maintenance experience.
• Aerial lift repair/maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to use a computer for several different tasks including creating repair work orders.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
