About the role
Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic in Farmers Branch, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 3 years of service and repair experience in diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and asphalt/concrete paving equipment.
Responsibilities
- Owning your own tools is required.
- Perform daily equipment inspections.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Work hours may vary to meet project needs, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- A strong commitment to jobsite safety and diligent demonstration of safe work practices.
- Experience with asphalt and concrete paving equipment is preferred.
