Mechanic C

Transdev in Knoxville, TN is seeking a C-Level Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of engines across vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements on a variety of engines to ensure optimal functionality.
• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks to contribute to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• ASE certifications required (ASE certification program provided).
• Must possess a Mechanic’s Tool Set.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical, if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment is a combination of both indoors and outdoors.

Pay

Competitive compensation package ranging from $19.25/hr to $24.00/hr.
