Mechanic

About the Role

PM Mechanic responsible for maintaining a fleet of refuse and recycling trucks in a team-focused shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles.
• Inspect trucks, complete scheduled services, and identify repair needs.
• Document work in the maintenance system.
• Collaborate with drivers and supervisors to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain fleet functionality and support environmental stewardship.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical skills, especially with diesel or heavy trucks.
• Experience with vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance documentation.
