About the role

Operate, troubleshoot, repair, construct, install, and maintain mechanical production equipment. Perform quality checks on mechanical machinery, utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain a high-speed can manufacturing line, and troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems. Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances. Partner with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Complete assigned standard operating procedures and documentation. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency
• Trade school or apprenticeship preferred
• Mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong mechanical diagram knowledge

Pay

Starting pay is $35.53 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential for night shifts. Overtime and opportunities for double time are available. Quarterly incentive bonuses are based on safety training completion and plant incident rates.

Schedule

6 PM – 6 AM on a 2-2-3 rotating shift:

• Week 1: 36 hours
• Week 2: 48 hours (includes overtime)
