Role: Heavy duty diesel truck and equipment mechanic responsible for safe operation, repair, rebuild, and maintenance of company-owned or leased vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair operational issues in heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment.Maintain and repair diesel, CNG, gas, and electrically operated vehicles.Complete reports, work orders, and manage parts procurement.Plan and schedule repairs, review mechanical write-ups, and coordinate repairs.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.Utilize tools and equipment, possess and maintain necessary tools.Assist in training new employees and stay updated on technology through training.Perform additional duties as directed by management. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; technical diploma preferred.Minimum one year of diesel mechanic experience; diagnostic software skills a plus.Computer literate, capable of learning software systems.Effective communication, ability to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain records.Physical ability to perform job tasks, including lifting up to 100 pounds. Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Exposure to loud noise, varying weather, moving parts, chemicals, and high places. Requires physical effort, concentration, and visual acuity.
