Mechanic

About the role

Denny's Electric is seeking a skilled in-house mechanic to maintain our fleet and heavy equipment. The primary responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, repairing, and replacing faulty components to ensure maximum reliability and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical and hydraulic components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Inspect computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
• Conduct routine maintenance work to aim at vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair or replace issues as necessary.
• Keep logs on work performed.
• Ensure dependability and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

An excellent mechanic with a good hand-eye coordination and strong manual dexterity is required. Must be well-versed in complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of vehicles and heavy equipment.

Skills

• Proven experience in mechanics and related fields.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic components and hydraulic systems of trucks, vehicles, heavy equipment, and trailers.
• Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment safely.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and exposure to hazardous materials.
