Mechanic

Role Description

The Mechanic role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sandy Springs, GA. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing production and material-handling equipment to support safe and efficient bottling and distribution operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and basic electrical issues, completing repairs on heavy equipment and machinery, and documenting all maintenance activities in accordance with company standards. The Mechanic will collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to minimize equipment downtime, follow all safety and compliance procedures, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. This role may involve working varied shifts, responding to urgent maintenance needs, and supporting other facilities or areas as required.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for industrial or production equipment
• Skills in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduling, inspection, and routine servicing of machinery
• Experience working with Heavy Equipment used in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments
• Proficient Troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or fleet maintenance; prior work in beverage, food, or similar industries is beneficial
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders; familiarity with computerized maintenance systems is a plus
• Commitment to safety practices, including proper use of tools, PPE, lockout/tagout, and adherence to company and regulatory standards
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, trade school, or certifications in mechanics, industrial maintenance, or related fields are preferred
