Mechanic
Position Summary
Assemble, disassemble, and repair pumps, motors, and valves. Diagnose problems and identify parts needed to repair. Test all items, perform work in both shop and field environment.
Essential Functions
- Repairs pumps, motors, and valves.
- Tear down pumps, motors, and valves for repair.
- Identify parts needed to repair.
- Build new pumps, motors, and valves.
- Aid in machine shop as needed.
- Test completed pumps, motors, and valves according to written procedures.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
- Record parts and materials needed and request new parts and materials, as necessary.
- Maintain a neat and orderly shop.
- Aid in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and controls.
- Maintain test stands and equipment in accordance with ISO procedures.

- Ability to make decisions while following company procedures.
- Keep management apprised of work and backlog.
- Ability to use cranes, and other heavy and light machines, and equipment.
Education
- High School Graduate or GED required.
Experience
- Three years mechanic experience.
- Hydraulic experience preferred.
