Mechanic 1, Full Time, Days

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of equipment/spaces/buildings/grounds.
• Completion of work orders, PM’s and other records.
• Building component installation/maintenance/repair.
• Accept and complete additional duties as assigned.
• Respond to fire and other emergencies.
• Participates in helping with all department activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: HS/GED required.
• Technical training in a health care environment on equipment and utilities preferred.
• Experience: One year experience or comparable combination of education and experience in maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of safety codes.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to maintain records.
• Must posses a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
