Mechanic 1

About the role

A Mechanic 1 is an entry-to-mid-level support role under close supervision. They inspect, maintain, and perform basic-to-moderate repairs on vehicles and motorized equipment, assist senior technicians, and complete routine preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle servicing like oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
• Inspect and test-drive vehicles or equipment to check performance.
• Assist with minor repairs on brakes, electrical systems, and engines.
• Document all completed maintenance and repair work logs.
• Keep the workspace, tools, and equipment clean and safe.
