About the role
Your local Bi-Mart is looking for an outstanding individual to join the logistics team. This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining trailers and dollies to meet OSHA and DOT regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair trailer and trailer dollies specifically air brake systems, suspension, lighting, floor, roof, door and bodies.
- Drive to and from different truck dealers to retrieve parts.
- Move equipment as required for shop.
- Consistently implement practices to maintain a clean facility, including, but not limited to machines, trailers, forklifts, and trucks.
- Communicate and coordinate with outside vendors, the traffic department and others to ensure that repairs and maintenance are completed timely and correctly.
- Prepare repair orders and inspection forms.
- Assist in other duties and functions as directed by management.
