Meat Wrapper
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Stocks and merchandises both the fresh and frozen cases
- Prices products
- Ensures product's quality, protection, accuracy and proper rotation in coolers
- Rewrap meat packages, as needed
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements
- Maintains great customer service
- Maintains clean and organized pork rinds rack
- Keeps meat displays clean and presentable
- Stores cleaning supplies properly
Education And Experience
High School Diploma, GED equivalent required. Experience working in a meat department, a plus. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
The incumbent must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities required for satisfactory performance. Ability to properly communicate with co-workers and customers. Ability to follow the positions responsibilities and guidelines. Multitasking skills. Excellent customer service skills.
Physical Demands And Work Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools or controls. Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour. The pay scale above is the hourly wage range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Manager roles have a bonus target potential paid out quarterly based on company results/metrics. Within this range, individual pay is determined by location and other factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
