Meat Wrapper

About the role

Meat Wrapper is responsible for receiving, storing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, merchandising and rotating meat department products. The position involves working with management and other associates to ensure meat cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality beef, pork, poultry, and seafood products for customers, according to company standards. The primary focus is on delivering great customer service to secure the store's financial success.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, wrap, weigh, price, merchandise, and rotate meat department products.
• Work with management and other associates to maintain well-stocked meat cases.
• Ensure compliance with company standards for freshness and quality of meat products.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the store's financial performance.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of proper meat handling and storage techniques.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a retail or foodservice environment preferred.

Pay

$16.90 to $22.00 per hour.
