Based in Portland, Oregon, Fred Meyer merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. Responsibilities

• Prepare and display meat items for sale according to company standards and policies.
• Wait on customers and provide customer service, greeting them and assisting in finding products.
• Demonstrate the company's leadership behaviors and core values (respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, safety).
• Check product quality, ensure freshness, proper rotation, and that merchandise is safe and properly displayed.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms, coolers clean, well organized, and free of clutter; maintain floors, carts, tools, and supplies in designated areas.
• Work display cases to maintain proper inventory levels and freshness.
• Unload trucks, sort, and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Wash and sanitize equipment in accordance with company and health department policies.
• Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers and associates.
• Communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates.
• Follow all current rules, duties, and applicable Meat, Company, State, and Federal laws.
