Meat Team Member

About the Role

As a Meat Wrapper, you will ensure that our guests receive the best and most delicious products, presented according to their requirements. You will support the Meat Lead, promote guest loyalty, and contribute to the store's growth and success. This role requires a team player who is eager to support an amazing team and inspire those around you.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining meat cooler and freezer efficiency by unloading deliveries.
• Rotate and check code dates on products to ensure customer safety.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of your work for Team Members, guests, and products.
• Provide exemplary customer service by greeting customers and helping them locate products.
• Answer customer questions and make product suggestions.
• Deliver unparalleled guest service to delight and surprise guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Inspire fellow Team Members and guests with a passion for food and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food and safety guidelines.
• Replenish products in the meat cases, rotating stock and following code dating procedures to ensure freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness of the department and work area, including the back room.
• Assist in other areas as required.

Requirements

• 0 to 6 months of experience.
• No high school diploma required.
• Food Safety certification or licensing required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $15.75–$15.9375 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.
