Meat Production Packer

About the role

Join our production team as a Meat Packer! We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare meat products according to company quality standards.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming meat products.
• Operate packaging equipment, including scales, vacuum sealers, and labelers.
• Portion, weigh, and accurately label products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with your team to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Warehouse, food production, or packaging experience is a plus—but we're willing to train the right candidate!
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift.
• Perform repetitive tasks using hands and arms.
• Work safely while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment

• This position is performed in a refrigerated warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 0°F to 50°F.
• Team members may be exposed to noise, food processing equipment, cleaning chemicals, and food allergens while following all required safety and sanitation protocols.
