Meat Production Associate

About the role

This position is critical in executing efficient, high-volume, and high-quality meat production. The key focus is on meeting yield and quality standards while ensuring accuracy, flexibility, and safety on the Production Floor. The role involves working in various areas of the meat production room, including the packaging department and meat trimming table.

Schedule

• Nights: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Complete daily and monthly production needs through hands-on manufacturing of stock, JIT, and special-order needs, and packaging.
• Understand and apply knowledge of production yield and quality standards.
• Adhere to department policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate and model behavior consistent with the department’s core values.
• Assist with maintaining an environment conducive to success for the production team.
• Perform all duties related to department and product handling tasks in line with production team policies, procedures, and standards.
• Contribute to a positive environment where beneficial changes to departmental policy are embraced.
• Assist with other special assignments as assigned.
• Perform all duties in a timely and courteous manner with respect for all company personnel and property.
• Report any concerns immediately.
