About the role
Plan, organize, train and direct Meat department associates; perform production and customer service functions; maximize store sales and profits.
Responsibilities

- Based in Arizona, Fry's Food Stores merged with The Kroger Company in 1983. Today, we're proudly serving Fry's customers in over 120 stores throughout Arizona.
- Work weekends and holidays.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure accurate temperature logs.
- Train and develop Meat department associates.
- Implement company programs and adhere to policies.
- Manage workload and direct reports.
- Resolve customer and business issues.
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Requirements
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling.
- Experience in meat work or similar food preparation.
- Dependable past work record reflecting integrity.
Qualifications

- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Understanding of department operations.
- Skills in production, merchandising, and customer services.
- Positive attitude towards customer relations.
- Ability to maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality, and space allocation.
