MEAT/DEPT LEADER

About the role

Plan, organize, train and direct Meat department associates; perform production and customer service functions; maximize store sales and profits.

Responsibilities

• Based in Arizona, Fry's Food Stores merged with The Kroger Company in 1983. Today, we're proudly serving Fry's customers in over 120 stores throughout Arizona.
• Work weekends and holidays.

• Maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure accurate temperature logs.
• Train and develop Meat department associates.
• Implement company programs and adhere to policies.
• Manage workload and direct reports.
• Resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Requirements

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, safety, and food handling.
• Experience in meat work or similar food preparation.
• Dependable past work record reflecting integrity.
