Responsibilities

  • Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to company standards and customer requests.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of meat to maintain freshness and safety.
  • Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment.
  • Inspect meat products for quality and report any issues to management.
  • Aid customers with meat selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
  • Follow all safety and health regulations in the workplace.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a meat cutter or in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of meat cuts, trimming techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to operate knives and cutting equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
