About the Role

Join our meat team at Sam’s Club, where you’ll make important decisions about the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for our members. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will help sell quality products and create a great shopping experience. Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering member questions and assisting across the club as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and member-ready.
• Collaborate with team members and be flexible to meet business needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in floor operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards.
• Use digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experiences, and make real-time business decisions.
• Ensure operational excellence by adhering to company policies, quality standards, and date control.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
• Advocate for the department by modeling high-quality service and products.
• Comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and members while adapting to feedback.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply (ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour) based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
