About the Role

Join our meat team at Sam’s Club, where you’ll make important decisions about the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for our members. Your attention to detail and customer service skills will help create a great shopping experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring member satisfaction while maintaining product excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering member questions and assisting as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready work area.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to support business needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in meat preparation (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) and adhere to product safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain equipment, ensuring proper sanitization.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and make real-time business decisions.
• Ensure operational excellence by following company policies for quality control, packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and minimize waste.
• Advocate for the department by modeling high-quality service and products.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and members while adapting to feedback and change.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
