Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering any questions members may have.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team and communicate effectively with team members.
- Demonstrate knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation and maintenance.
- Prepare meat products (e.g., cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards, including cutting boneless meat products and maintaining product quality.
- Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
- Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining work areas according to company policies and procedures, including quality and date control standards for meat products.
- Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
- Ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies.
- Advocate for the department and club by modeling high-quality service and products, executing basics at the highest possible level of quality, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
- Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; and adapting to change, difficulties, and feedback.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, such as based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
