About the Role

Join our meat team at Sam’s Club, where you’ll make important decisions about the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for our members. You’ll be on the front-lines of customer service, ensuring a great shopping experience with your attention to detail and steady hand. Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering member questions and assisting across the club as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and member-ready.
• Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team and adapt to business needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in floor operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and make real-time business decisions.
• Ensure operational excellence by adhering to company policies, maintaining quality and date control, securing merchandise, and eliminating waste.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of products.
• Advocate for the department by modeling high-quality service and products, executing basics at the highest level.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers, and adapting to feedback.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for long periods while assisting members quickly and accurately.
• Thrive in fast-paced environments and prioritize member satisfaction.
• Problem-solver who tackles obstacles head-on to ensure excellence.
• Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums may apply (ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour) based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
