About the role

We are a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. As a Meat Clerk, you'll assist guests in selecting high-quality meats and seafood, ensuring the department runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver helpful service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and fulfilling special orders.
• Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies.
• Honor commitments through regular attendance and prompt notice for absences.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests, leaders, and retail associates.
• Able to multitask and maintain customer service focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage, and inventory practices.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Knowledge of safety and food safety practices.
