Responsibilities
- Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
- Monitor and maintain all food handling and temperature standards.
- Acquire and share knowledge of the Meat Department, including sourcing and culinary tips.
- Write orders using effective pars and planning.
- Work as a team to complete daily tasks such as scanning and recording shrink, order writing, raw production, incidental cutting, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
- Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
- Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to comply with all company policies and standards.
- Sense of urgency and ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Production-driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks while standing.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work the hours required to meet company objectives, including occasional additional time as needed.
- Willingness to work a non-traditional five-day work schedule, including weekends and evenings.
- Occasional exposure to extreme hot or cold conditions.
