Measurement Technician (Flooring Estimator) - 1099-Subcontractor

About the role

We are seeking dependable and professional Measure Technicians to join our growing team as independent contractors. This field‑based position involves traveling locally, meeting new people, and helping customers with their flooring projects while managing your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes to measure flooring installation areas.
• Accurately collect measurements and project details using provided technology.
• Deliver excellent customer service during each appointment.
• Communicate professionally with customers (as needed) and team members.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Active listening and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of personal auto insurance.
• Smartphone and basic tablet/computer skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Construction experience preferred; flooring knowledge is a plus.
• Availability on Saturdays is required.
