Responsibilities
- Review daily delivery record on a daily basis for changes
- Return signed delivery record to program office each Friday
- Verify daily hot and cold meals provided in equipment on a daily basis correspond to written daily count route sheet
- Follow verbal or written instructions from supervisory staff
- Transport (carry) hot boxes (2 or more) containing hot portion of the meals and coolers containing cold portion of the meals from loading dock to personal vehicle
- Deliver meals, which may include going up and down stairs and stairways, in the time allotted
- As directed by his/her supervisor provide needed assistance to specific identified client to ensure he/she is able to consume meal (i.e., open containers, get utensils, etc.)
- Inform Supervisory staff of any observed unmet needs or problems
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- MUST have: Personal cell phone
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Proof of current car insurance and registration
- Access to a reliable, working vehicle
