Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting mission-critical systems. The role involves working within a collaborative team environment to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions aligned with customer requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze user and system requirements to design and develop software solutions
• Develop, enhance, and maintain complex software applications
• Implement algorithms to meet performance and functional standards
• Participate in system architecture and design discussions
• Develop APIs, backend services, and user interfaces as required
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Support deployment, configuration management, and release activities
• Contribute to technical documentation and user guides
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

Required Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Experience using the Linux command line interface
• Experience developing microservices using Java and Spring
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and containerd
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience using system monitoring tools including Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience using Git for version control

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD
• Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval
• Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion
• Experience with the Amazon HCI platform
• Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills
• Able to operate effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multi-disciplinary team

Pay and Benefits

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The pay range for this role is: 175,000 - 235,000 USD per year (NBP)
