MDS Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN

About the Role

The MDS Nurse organizes, completes, and evaluates resident assessments and care plans in compliance with state and federal regulations. They coordinate the MDS, CAAS, and care planning processes upon admission, ensure timely updates, and establish assessment reference dates. The role involves observing and reporting resident condition changes, documenting assessments, and consulting with physicians to provide appropriate care.

Additional responsibilities include participating in quality improvement programs, community surveys, and investigating resident concerns. The nurse mentors other staff, facilitates resident and family participation, and maintains a professional, compassionate environment. Administrative tasks such as completing reports and supporting electronic health records are also required.

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Active unrestricted LPN or RN license.
• At least 2 years of MDS experience.

Pay

Compensation ranges from USD $39.00 to $42.00 per hour.

No travel is required for this role.
