MDS Coordinator | RN

About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a MDS Coordinator | RN to join their team at Carnegie Village Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. The company is guided by the YOUNITE philosophy, emphasizing genuine respect and personalized care for residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate completion of the RAI process and care management process from admission to discharge, in accordance with company policy, Federal, State and Certification guidelines, and other appropriate entities.
• Minimum Data Set, discharge, and admission tracking.
• With direction from the Director of Nursing and VP of Clinical Reimbursement, coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN in the state of practice.
• Prior MDS experience highly preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of Case-Mix, the Federal Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the Quality Indicator process, OBRA regulations, and Minimum Data Set.
• Knowledge of the care planning process required.
