About the role

At PwC, our people in data management focus on organizing and maintaining data to enable accuracy and accessibility for effective decision-making. These individuals handle data governance, quality control, and data integration to support business operations. As part of the Data Management team, you will architect and oversee enterprise-wide Product Information Management (PIM) solutions.

As a Manager, you will lead business development and client engagement efforts related to product data management, securing alignment with business goals and driving innovation in product data practices. You will focus on the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of data, implementing data quality control measures, performing data cleansing and validation, and monitoring data integrity. You will manage data operations, including data acquisition, transformation, and loading processes, to enable the smooth functioning of data management systems.

You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members’ unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. You will mentor team members, identify opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm, and lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-wide Product Information Management solutions
  • Lead business development initiatives and client engagement strategies
  • Confirm product data management aligns with organizational objectives
  • Drive innovation in product data practices and methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality
  • Mentor team members to develop their skills and capabilities
  • Analyze and enhance processes for improved productivity
  • Uphold exceptional standards of quality in deliverables
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same
  • Effectively mentor others and use work reviews as opportunities to deepen team expertise
  • Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and stakeholders
  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, the Firm’s code of conduct, and independence requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Management

Skills

  • Analyze and identify linkages and interactions between component parts of an entire system
  • Hands-on experience with leading PIM platforms preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement product data taxonomies
  • Architecting end-to-end PIM solutions and managing product data lifecycle
  • Understanding of PIM integration with data quality initiatives
  • Functional business knowledge in retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce preferred
  • Translating complex product data challenges into actionable use cases

Pay

The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
