Position Duties
- Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
- Develop, baseline, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Conduct critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and variance analysis
- Identify potential schedule conflicts and acquisition bottlenecks; develop and recommend mitigation strategies to program leadership
- Facilitate coordination between engineering, logistics, contracting, and resource management teams
- Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
- Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc schedule reports, metrics, and dashboards
- Support and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)
Position Required
- Bachelors Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience or Master Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Proficiency in industry-standard scheduling tools
- Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct deep-dive schedule variance analysis, identify root causes of delays, and confidently propose corrective action plans to program leadership
- Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution

- Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts
