MD - Principal Clinical AI Evaluation Strategist

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $95,300 – $158,800 annually

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Set and drive strategy for evaluating generative AI in clinical and educational contexts
• Co-develop evaluation roadmaps with product teams and medical professionals
• Lead governance for clinical content evaluation and influence standards for AI-driven systems
• Manage complex projects evaluating AI models' performance in clinical use cases
• Drive innovation in medical knowledge representation strategies
• Develop and implement content enrichment strategies to ensure clinical accuracy
• Foster cross-functional collaboration between clinical experts and AI teams

Qualifications

• MD required with 10+ years of clinical experience and expertise in medical informatics
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating AI systems for clinical applications
• Proven experience leading large expert teams using project management and agile methodologies
• Expert-level understanding of clinical knowledge systems and medical content validation
• Track record of developing evaluation frameworks for AI in healthcare
• Innovative mindset focused on improving healthcare outcomes through AI
