Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, utilizing your deep knowledge of physiology and medical terminology.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans across specialties such as cardiology, oncology, and more.
• Utilize EHR systems like Athena or other EMR platforms to document patient encounters accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage patient care activities in inpatient settings.
• Support clinical research initiatives by collecting data, maintaining medical records, and adhering to NCQA standards for quality assurance.

Requirements

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines like pulmonology, cardiology, and others.
• Experience working with electronic health record systems such as Athena or similar platforms; strong knowledge of CPT coding and ICD coding is a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient service excellence through compassionate care delivery in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Basic life support certification.
• Medical office experience and familiarity with infection control protocols.
