MD/DO Emergency Medicine, 1.0 FTE
About the role
Emplify Health, based in La Crosse, WI, is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join their outstanding Emergency Medicine group. They handle approximately 75-80k visits each year in combined Urgent Care and Emergency Room settings.
Responsibilities
- Rotational coverage to their rural Critical Access Hospitals totaling 1460 clinical hours annually
- 8-hour shifts with 12-24 hour shifts in rural ERs included in annual coverage expectations
- 325-bed Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, STEMI/PCI Program with medical management of both ground and two air emergency transport helicopters

Requirements
- Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated
- Must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in their multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations
Qualifications
- Medical staff in their system will supervise advanced practice clinicians
- Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system
- Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to their Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff
