MD/DO 1.0 FTE Pediatric Neurology Practice on the Scenic Mississippi River in La Crosse, WI
About the role
Join an expanding team of one child neurologist; one PM&R physician; one pediatric neuropsychologist and pediatric neurology nurses. We are also supported by a robust Pediatrics and Pediatrics Specialties department with specialties including medical genetics, pediatric ophthalmology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, etc. We also have support of Child Life Specialists and Children’s Miracle Network.
Responsibilities
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinic settings including Neuromotor clinic, Headache clinic, NICU follow up clinic and Neurodevelopment clinic
- Collaborate with other members of the neurology and pediatric subspecialities team
- Support the teaching of students, residents, fellows or clinical staff as part of our Medical Education philosophy
Requirements
Must be BC in neurology with special qualification in child neurology. Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
Qualifications
Must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
