MCT/MILK LAB TECHNICIAN - CLINICAL NUTRITION

Position Summary

This position performs a variety of tasks related to the preparation and delivery of human milk and infant/pediatric formulas, as well as transferring information regarding patient formula orders. The technician is responsible for adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations established by the hospital and regulatory agencies.

Position Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• One year of relevant job experience exercising problem-solving skills and demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills
• BLS within 90 days of hire/transfer
• Serv Safe certification within 6 months of hire
• Preferred: Associates degree in applied science or related field
• Preferred: 2 years of NICU experience
• Preferred: 6-12 months of clinical experience working in a hospital or medical setting
