About the role
The Manipulator Crane Operator is responsible for safe operation of crane machinery, including knowledge of technical specifications and handling all loads. This role is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of nuclear power plants. You will report to the Senior Manager of Resource Management and to management onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating Cranes: Operate different cranes to lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and structures needed for the construction and maintenance of nuclear power plants.
- Safety Procedures: Follow strict safety and quality procedures specific to the nuclear sector, ensuring that loads are handled securely to avoid any risk of accidents.
- Inspection and Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of cranes to ensure their proper functioning and safety.
- Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate lifting operations, considering technical constraints and safety requirements.
- Emergency Response: React quickly in case of unforeseen events or emergencies, following established protocols to ensure site safety.
Qualifications
- A high school graduate or equivalent required.
- You must have a strong understanding of crane machinery.
- Knowledge of technical specifications and ability to conduct safe operations of heavy loads.
- We require experience in the nuclear field.

Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $30.00 hour to $35.00 hour.
