About the role

Cultivating Connections Montana (CCMT) is a Bitterroot Valley nonprofit committed to enhancing access to nutritious local food, supporting at-risk youth, and bolstering community resilience for low-income families, elders, adults with special abilities, and rural households through initiatives such as community gardens, farmstands, youth internships, and inclusive community events. This VISTA project aims to expand CCMT’s community food and youth programs by creating robust communication, volunteer coordination, and evaluation systems.

Responsibilities

• Design a social media content workflow, Canva template suite, and brand style guide to enhance awareness and reduce information barriers of CCMT’s programs.
• Build Mailchimp email automation, strengthen partner cross-promotion systems, and develop frameworks for staff to engage micro-focus groups to identify participation barriers among underserved residents.
• Develop data collection protocols, KPI dashboards, and communications toolkits for CCMT’s MAYDAY! Gardens, Youth Internship, Farmstand, and GIVEBACK! Initiative, and create training materials for staff and volunteers.
• Implement a shared scheduling system to expand service capacity and develop volunteer recruitment and onboarding workflows.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
